Nritya Kalakshetra Academy of Performing Arts is a premier Bharatanatyam institution founded in 2005 by Guru. Smt. Sivanuja Balaji. The school’s mission is to preserve and promote the classical dance form of Bharatanatyam while fostering artistic excellence and cultural understanding.
The school offers a comprehensive curriculum, including beginner to advanced levels of Bharatanatyam training. Through collaborating with Griffin College of London, students can take structured level exams for Classical Art forms which is recognized worldwide in the field of performing arts.
The teaching methodology combines the traditional Kalakshetra techniques with contemporary approaches, guided by a team of highly qualified and experienced faculty members.
The school has achieved significant milestones, by being part prestigious events and conceptualizing performances. To name a few
And recently curating the dance competition NatyaManjari at the SV temple.
The students actively engage with the community through workshops, outreach programs, and cultural events across Minnesota and the US, contributing to the broader appreciation and preservation of Bharatanatyam.
